What aspect of the training captivated you the most?

What particularly struck me about this training course was the strategic dimension of the CIO's role, and the importance of his or her positioning within the executive committee. Over and above the technical aspects, the CIO needs to know how to navigate the dynamics of the Executive Committee, identify his or her allies and place IT within a logic of value creation for the company.
Understanding how to reinforce this leadership posture, how to articulate an IT vision aligned with the global strategy and, above all, how to get your teams on board with this dynamic, is, in my view, one of the major lessons to be learned from this training course. This approach fundamentally changes the way we look at the function and its impact on the organization.

Which course impressed you the most?

The aspect that most appealed to me was UX design. It's an area I knew little about, and one that opened up new perspectives for me. As CIOs, we tend to focus on the robustness of systems and the efficiency of processes, without always putting ourselves in the shoes of the end-user. This training has made me aware of the importance of this approach, and the impact it can have on the acceptance of digital solutions. From now on, I'll be paying more attention to these aspects, and I'm convinced that this will change the way I approach certain projects.

What do you consider to be the strengths of the course?

One of the most distinctive aspects of this course is its pragmatic, hands-on approach. It is designed by CIOs, for CIOs, which makes it invaluable. Unlike other courses, which are often theoretical and far removed from the realities of the field, this one is rooted in the day-to-day life of IT managers.
The lecturers are experienced professionals who share their experiences, their successes and the pitfalls they have encountered. This grounding in operational reality gives the course a concrete and immediately applicable dimension. The diversity of profiles, the quality of exchanges and the wealth of shared experience make this a highly valuable program.
For me, that's the strength of this course. The speakers, the diversity of the speakers, the quality of what they've experienced and of what they transcribe, it's, for me, extraordinary."

How will training change your professional practice?

"Everything! I came here to take up a new position. I needed a background, tools and knowledge to structure my mission. At each session, I wrote down concrete actions to put in place immediately. It's not just theory, it's concrete and applicable tomorrow.
This will give structure to my new position and to the years to come. Thanks to this training, I'll be able to build an IT department aligned with the company's strategy.
